Gold Hill Rail Trail Hike/Canceled
April 26 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
We are so sorry that due to the Covid19 virus Shutdown, the hike has been canceled. We hope that you will come out and continue to enjoy the trails here at Gold Hill Mines Historic Park. We will try to reschedule the history hike later in the year.
The Gold Hill Rail Trail is owned by the Historic Gold Hill and Mines Foundation, Inc. and is a part of Gold Hill Mines Historic Park. We appreciate the support of Catawba Lands Conservancy and The Carolina Thread Trail. Catawba Lands Conservancy is the lead agency for the Carolina Thread Trail, a regional network of trails, blueways and conservation corridors that will ultimately link more than 2.3 million citizens in North and South Carolina.
The Thread comprises a 15-county area: Anson, Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanly and Union counties within North Carolina and Cherokee, Chester, Lancaster and York counties in South Carolina.
We will meet at Miner’s Field (Softball Field) at the NW Entrance. (Red Marker on Map).
