Many tragedies occurred at Gold Hill during a century of gold mining history. The stories are documented in numerous publications. Some of those accidents have resulted in Ghost Stories, many of which have been passed down retold through the years. Some have been slightly changed with details amiss. None-the-less the stories make great campfire entertainment and lots of fun at Gold Hill’s Ghost Tour and Village Ghost Walk events.
